She's been mad since day one (she has SO much reason to be angry lol) and imo she's always walked a fine line and has made a few problematic decisions in the past before (killing innocent people before ). The closer she gets to the throne the crazier she gets about it. I think she thought she had an easy path to the throne (ie. just defeating Cersei) but it has always been a three-way battle between Danaerys, Cersei, and Sansa. And now that she found out Jon is truly a Targaryen, this has thrown a HUGE wrench in her plans because she comprehends that Sansa won't let Jon skip out on this opportunity. Sansa has been SO smart to lay low and let the other two take each other out. I feel like viewers undermine her thought process, and maybe it's the inner libra in me but honestly, I understand every character's motive and I think that's what we are supposed to do. It is the GAME of Thrones and at the end of the day, everyone wants more power. Put yourself in each character's shoes and really think why they make the moves that they do. Everyone is quick to call Sansa bitter for not liking Danaerys and wanting Jon to take the throne, but she has been burned so many times before and what better way to ENSURE hers and her family's safety than having her brother sit on that throne??? live and let live Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
River 116,208 Posted May 6, 2019 Share Posted May 6, 2019 some arcs that had to take a few episodes ended in 5 minutes scene And Dany's entrance with the dragons was like when Hillary thought that she's winning but then everything fell down and we got Trump. Missandei had the same facial expression though all her the show, even in her last second, if now they'll show the head, it would have the same expression. I like how suddenly Varys has a role this season, the DICless bitch didn't say a word for 3 episodes and now suddenly he's a key character in the political mess, right before everything will burn... Varys should move to play in the The Bold and The Beautiful or Riverdale. I felt bad for Brienne, she reminded me my sis when her 1st sex boyfriend left her one day after, it was sad and terrible, men can be sh-t sometimes. Jon was idiot as usual, can they kill him already? the most boring hero I've ever seen.. maybe in the books he's better, idk, but I can't stand him, he's flawless and it's just wrong.. lifeasgeorge 9,427 Posted May 6, 2019 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Honestly thinking about it, I won't be mad with whoever sits on the throne at the end of the show since in the end whoever is sitting on that throne is the person who made the BEST moves with the hand that they were dealt. It's never about being the strongest, the richest, the most ethical, etc. It's about who made the best strategic moves and if your moves get you to that throne then you deserve it You guys can be mad that Dany is losing her power but if she truly wanted that iron throne she should have gone and killed Cersei instead of making an alliance with the North and fighting the White Walkers. Cersei was smart to sit that battle out and let her enemies take care of it. Dany can only blame herself for the situation she is in, and it sucks because it was a good moral decision to help save the kingdom but out of everyone it cost her the MOST. Her troops, dragons, and even her legitimacy as a ruler. I mean Smaug had a "weakpoint" when he was shot. Come on now, what a waste of good dragon Can't wait for episode 5 tho.
