It is the Trailer that gave this movie craze before the GP saw the film. It is Cooper and Gaga at their best: Harmony. love, joy. It is the song that solidifies the beginning of their bond: Like Cooper says, if you do not buy what happens in the first part of the movie, there is no movie. Think about it: Would the movie be what it is without Shallow? The movie would certainly be as excellent without INLA at the end IMO. In that regard, ARUTW is a close second, providing the film's pivot point. But the film is all about Cooper and Gaga - it NEEDS to be Shallow. Besides, there would be rehearsals, performance, and all with Jack and Ally. I mean GaBra!
