It’s hard to know how much of the dismissiveness and ire directed at the Kardashians traces back to discomfort about perceived cultural deterioration, but the academic consensus seems to be that haters are probably avoiding some uncomfortable self-reflection.

What if I hate myself but don't hate the Kardashians :oprah:

It means you're in denial of your Kardashians hate and you should talk to someone about it

Praying for you :kara:

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

What if I used to like the Kardashians before they became fake (both literally and figuratively)...but then I grew up into a 29 year old woman who realizes the danger they pose to young girls who look up to them as well as society. :vegas:

To be honest, its not the Kardashians fault. Every generation has ridiculously insane beauty standards that are unattainable for 99.9% of young girls. When I was young, thin was in. Everyone was anorexic and trying to fit into childrens clothes in high school. God forbid you were bigger than a size zero. Now girls just want to get lip injections and paint their faces like clowns on the school bus and walk into elementary school looking like a 30 year old.

Its understandable from the point that if you think of a trait of someone else, or if you portray others to have negative energy, you most likely are the one carrying those negative traits about yourself. But to be honest, they're so wrong, If you don't like the Kardashians that does not fully mean you hate yourself

If I am indifferent about them, does that mean I don't care about myself?:oprah:
