In my opinion, I don't really like fur and I don't think the fur trade should continue (and for that, fur purchasing must stop). In any realistic sense I can't stop her, and she knows what she's buying. Not heartless, but insensitive. To an extent, at least. Agreed. One thing she does that (imo) is insensitive doesn't make her a completely soulless person. Just because you think it's wrong to wear fur, doesn't make it fact. There's no right or wrong in this case, just lots of opinions. She isn't shallow or insensitive for having a different opinion than you and many others. I'm sure the majority of people also eat meat, there are animals being tortured for that delicious burger you want to devour. I'm not in love with the fur trade - fur exporters may not have great animal cruelty laws - but it isn't the complete evil people people make it out to be. Dead animals can be skinned, and they would suffer just as much as the cows and sheep slaughtered for food. The only problem is lack of regulation to stop animals being tortured. At least she has the decency to say she's worn animal skin before and actually apologize for offending anybody. And some fans have the nerve to betray her. Quite sad actually. She doesn't HAVE to support PETA. Instead of protesting her wearing fur or meat, why don't you protest the people who hurt those animals?
