It's categorized as a schedule 1 substance, having no medical use and high potential for abuse... Categorized more dangerous than cocaine and fentanyl which is loco... But anyway, when states legalize marijuana, it's complicated bc the federal law still says it's illegal. So this creates lots of issues for businesses that try to sell marijuana in legalized states. It also means that federal agents can, at any time, raid any legitimate business regardless of whether the state says it's legal or not. Sub sovereign levels of Government having laws that contradict the Federal Government or outright defy them This is why I prefer more centralized Nations like Portugal where I used to live.
