I mean, she's kind of seen as not popular but a kind of staple in recent pop culture.

They do, last years months after the cure, my friend literally said to me that she thought she was over and that her superbowl was not good so that's why nobody talk about it, she didn't that the cure was by gaga

In france the GP don't care about any pop star but Rihanna (and I'm gentle)

Same thing in my country (Mexico). A lot of people wanted Katy back because they didn't like Gaga's show :selena:

DWUW did better than Applause in France though:huntyga:

Oh yeah completely forgot about that, the beats commercial helped a lot!

I don't think she is on the radar of the GP in Belgium. Joanne as an album wasn't a huge success, but I think that Million Reasons did make an impact with the GP. Funnily enough, The Cure gets alright airplay, but I believe that most people don't realise it's her.

You will never please everyone.

She's not very popular anymore in Belgium, but people love and respect her.

In Belgium the GP was interested throughout TF, they adored here during TFM, they were sick of her during BTW, they hated her during ARTPOP and they accepted she’s staying around during Joanne.

I sincerely hope they at least get interested again because of ASIB and maybe love her during LG6?

Edit: She did perform with Tony Bennett in Brussels and they had a show at the Jazz Festival in Gent. Maybe that’s why Belgians know she’s still alive.

They talked about her Superbowl on the radio a lot and discussed the Joanne World Tour when she did her show in Antwerp. :vegas:

No, here in Argentina it does not resonate on the radios since BTW. Applause was a moderate hit. MR was put on the radios, but just a little bit and nothing. All my gay friends say, remember that singer that you liked, what was his name? Gaga?

Since I'm half danish and half polish, I'll give you both.

She's acclaimed as a performer and most people will go "oh, she's so talented" when you bring up her name in both countries, but I think she's got a more solid fanbase in Poland where despite the lack of ANY radio play she still debuted quite high with Joanne on the album charts than Denmark where although she seems to be praised and well-liked, she's kinda more seen as a "has-been".

Yes, Joanne is certified platinum in here and Mexico is her #1 country on Spotify. Mexicans love ballads.

In Sweden, not really. Most people don’t know where she went after Applause. Some people don’t know of her since BTW

I used to hear DWUW a lot but yeah people don't really know where she is anymore
