Pretty sure there's a GGD consensus about how we all feel about that

I'm talking about all the songs that get a bad rap for being album "filler"

Just the other day, I was listening to The Queen while imagining the LM condescension and disdain towards this beautiful diamond in the rough  It does not deserve all the ignorance! The instrumental alone deserves applause.mp3

 

Pure 80s synth heaven  If your booty ain't popping during the chorus then I'm sorry you don't deserve an ass  And the breakdown at the end with those guitars, the Whoa-oh's and some of Gaga's best songwriting x1000:

Like a phoenix so you can remind them of the dream I bore

Deserves to be looked upon the same level as MTN, TEOG, Venus, Diamond Heart etc etc.

Let's all give Gaga's "filler" tracks the recognition they deserve

The Queen should've been it's own release and not apart of the album. Like something put out During the Born this way ball just for fans. I love the song but it just doesn't fit Born this way to me.

The Born This Way Special Edition tracks are all brilliant.  It's kinda criminal that they're not included on the standard release.

Not really a filler but it’s a deluxe track. HURTL is the real filler for me. HURTL’s spot on standard versions belongs to Black Jesus tbh

I really like the BTW deluxe tracks as well. They're better then some standard edition tracks for me (looking at you Bads Kids and Americano )

I feel like the song is actually quite structurally similar to MTN and TEOG (like the chorus part) and thematically similar to the rest of the album imo. Interesting u think that

HURTL actually took awhile to grow on me but now i'm obsessed. It's great for road trips when you get really in the literal moment 

After listening to the instrumental my view completely changed

still don't know what a "hot rod" is tho
