What a wonderful country, with beautiful and healthy people. Other Scandinavian or Northern European Countries like Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark etc all do have a high standard of living. But they all have Government debt like just about everyone else Norway has had high oil production in relation to its size and rather than spend it all, they been putting away the revenue in a large fund. Favorite pastime in Norway is to shiver a lot...😎 That was me in Portugal Canada has colder winters but our homes are obviously comfortably heated and I can walk in shorts and t-shirt inside When I lived in Portugal on the coldest days because many homes there don't have heating (and on top of that made of cement) u literally could see your breath making condensation in the house as you spoke and the bed had so many thick blankets the weight crushed u in your sleep and turning in bed was hard. It was not uncommon at night for temperatures to reach freezing point and the house got frigit Then I'd warm up in luke-warm water (at best) when I took a bath cuz propaine was expensive there (we had to buy tanks) so we always rationed it. No 20 relaxing showers like I take now Ur joking around about shivering for past time, but I actually experienced it.
