Remove easy access for the public. Sick of seeing AI flyers / menus everywhere. AI thumbnails, photos, videos, music. Second-guessing every single thing I see now because I'm not sure if it's real and AI is now that good. Not being able to have any kind of discussion without someone saying "I asked ChatGPT and..." - we can all ask ChatGPT, your comment is worthless.

I even had someone send me an opening message on Grindr which was obviously generated by AI.

It's an absolute stain on society.

Leave it for medical research or something useful.

what is need is more guardrails and monitoring and transparency when it comes to ai use 

no one should ever have to question is AI was involved in something- it should always be stated and made known

Not Bernie falling for the corporate trickery going on this week.

The only reason Anthropic/OpenAI/Musk are backing a slow down and government involvement suddenly is for 1 simple reason.

They've achieved market dominance but are unable to turn a profit with their products. The only way to prevent the bubble bursting and destroying them is to block the open source small challengers being allowed to continue and pumping government funding into their companies.

There's a reason all this talk of world ending AI etc has come about at the exact moment Anthropic & OpenAI had to back away from the planned IPOs. They don't want to make their books public because it would crash their market value overnight and take the AI bubble down instantaneously.

The best chance they have of surviving is by effectively blocking any challengers and creating a too big to fail status for themselves.
