derpmonster 22,412
Hello sistrens! Here is my latest attempt at a hit thread. So in the second verse, the queen of international languages says: "Why do we gotta fight over ideas, We're talking the same old **** after all of these years. *Ayee Ayee Ayee* Come to Mama" Well, in Hindi, "Ayee" means "coming" as in, "Okay, I'm coming," as a response to someone telling you to come. And that too when the speaker is female. Yay, gendered languages. @Anveeroy @vrajesh can you attest? Sorry for assuming your languages. So, in the third verse, the background vocal is saying: "The only prisons that exist are ones we put each other in. *I'm coming, coming, coming Coming, coming, coming Coming, coming, coming* Come to Mama" Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

You are reach a bit sis I know that's just a nice vocal effect to go with the song. Didn't mean to imply that it was intentional. It was most likely not, but it ended up working. Edit: also, aaya/aayi can work as both "came" and "coming" depending on the context and whether "tha" comes after it.
