Animal rights activists to protest against the meat dress

I just discovered through a friend (who's interested in the event) that a bunch of animal rights activists have created an event on Facebook to protest against Gagas meat dress during her visit in Stockholm on February 15th.

The description is this:

Lady Gaga plays in Stockholm February 15th.

Lady Gaga is a big artist and role model to millions of people around the world, that's why you can think that she should be a good role model as she actually affects a big part of the population - especially the younger generation. Instead she chooses to get dressed in for example fur and contribute to disgusting industries.
At the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 she even came dressed in a dress made of meat.

A person who contributes to such suffering shouldn't feel welcome in any country at all, so it's our turn to show that she has nothing to do in Sweden either.

The plan is to have a really big protest against Lady Gaga when she comes here. Both at the concert and outside her hotel (if we find out where she stays), and at the airport when she arrives, but above all at the concert, then we will also have the chance to reach out to her fans.

Invite ALL you can imagine want to join to act for a better world for the animals. This is going to get big.

I hope Gaga has really good security, because one crazy person mentioned in the comments that she will throw something sticky on her

This is kinda pathetic tbh. Nothing negative on the activists, usually they do good things, but not this. What I know she hasn't worn real fur in a long time and that meat dress was almost eight years ago, get over it. I bet they don't even bothered to learn the point behind it.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

I'm really into animal rights and wish Gaga didn't wear fur or meat, but this is beyond crazy and stupid. They're making themselves look like Westboro Baptist Church or something. :awkney:

One of them is to show people that wear real fur or leather what they are really wearing.

So someone better tell this animal rights group to do their research.

#Swedenpride 💀

[Flashback to old Lili & Susie interview where they, fully clad in leather, exclaim: as animal lovers it doesn't feel right for us to wear fur.]

absolutely. It was to show everybody: "ohh, you like to wear real fur? here's what you really got on your shoulders". It was a way to show that fur might seem clean and chic, but you're actually wearing blood, meat and a dead soul on you

It was when gay people weren't free to join the army basically. If you were outed, you would have to be let go so Gaga was basically protesting for "don't ask, don't tell" which basically means that no one needs to know someone's sexuality and all people have a right to serve their country. If you watch Gaga's interview with Ellen, she says that if we don't fight for our human rights, the only thing that's left for us is our meat on our bones. Great quote.

It was mostly made from offcuts (which is commonly discarded or sold cheaply as seen undesirable by many, she literally wore the waste products of the meat industry) and was commentary on LGBT+ rights in the army and the fur industry.  The anemia must be hitting them hard if they're seriously triggered about this eight years later.
