Your Encounter With The GP About Gaga

Based on reading this thread, and everyone just about mentioning school, I’ve comd to the conclusion 90% of the responses are from teenagers in High School.

First of all, y’all might be woke, but your classmates are not.

My experiences have all been positive. I haven’t really met anyone in recent years who has had negative things to say about her.

Ever since Joanne, everytime she’s brought up, everyone praises her around me. It’s like how they speak about Beyoncé.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Good for you. I knew many teachers who despise Gaga because of the Illuminati stuffs, and they aren't teenagers anymore.

What'd you say back?

I told him that everyone has their own music taste. I didn't really wanted to go further into it bc I was in love with him at that time :toofunny:

Most of my friends know I’m musically versatile so when I listen to Gaga they don’t give off a reaction. When I told my coworkers I was a fan of Gaga and going to the JWT they were shook!

I confessed to a friend (girl) I was a Gaga stan,

she said : OMG ME TOOOO

- OMG seriously, I never thought I'd find someone

- Yeahhh, I loveee Alejandro, Judas (one of her biggests in France), Telephone, Eh Eh (famous in France lmao), Bad Romance, Poker Face, Paparazzi ...

- oh... I see

- So unfortunate she quitted music

 she didn't :derpga:

- oh really ??? Then I don't like her recent stuff

- But have you heard

- Doesn't interest me

- You should listen to Perfect Illusion, it's her best song

- Nah sorry I don't have time for that

In history class last year we were talking about Japanese influence among fashion in celebrities (I think it was kabuki specifically). One of my classmates names Lady Gaga, and then the history teacher piggybacks "Yeah, since the music's not good, she needed a shock factor to become famous" meanwhile he always plays twenty one pilots before class starts :wtfga: I'm so glad I'm done with him.

My professor earlier this year talked about the Super Bowl and how he was interested in watching it because he wanted to see if Gaga was gonna drag trump (she didn’t) that same class i was wearing my Gaga shirt and I sat face to face with this guy cuz we were working on a presentation and he was like “oh you like Lady Gaga? She’s kinda weird isn’t she? I mean she’s gotta nice ass but she’s weird” and I was like:

How old are some of you guys :madge:

Anyways, anytime I bring up Gaga people mention how weird she is but that she’s also I sanely talented. It’s mostly positive stuff honestly :laughga: she’s truly at her most favorable image to the GP. The most negative thing I’ve heard from people in real life is that they miss her uptempo stuff and hope she releases some stuff like that again. All in all, it’s been mostly positive stuff.

It has a lot to do with where you're from. In America she managed to turn her reputation around with all those televised performances but in Europe it seems like nobody's heard about her in years. I wish she gave at least some attention to international markets but oh well

Should have clapped back with, “Oh, is that why she has sold 100 million records worldwide? :lolga: Didn’t know fashion had the power to make people buy music.”
