Future Met Gala Theme: Mythology?

Ok so this years Catholic theme for the Met Gala has me in mixed feelings. I am kinda disappointed with it too. So as I was critiquing it, it me made think of something. 

What if the Met Gala does a Mythology theme in the future? That would be so AWESOME! I’d be very interesting and fun to see how everyone would look. 

Now for this years Catholic theme, I just don’t think it’s a great idea. How many different ways can you dress up as a nun or a priest? Now I know if Gaga goes this year, she’ll slay with some outfit from Judas music video or the White Nun Costume she was seen during the intro of the 2013 VMA’s. Or something along those lines. But aside from that, I don’t think it’s all that “cool” or “intriguing” of an Idea.

(Although it would be funny to see how everyone shows up, like Imagine someone like Ariana or Selena dressing up as nuns, LOL, no shade tho)

Now back to my point. Could you imagine the Slayage? And just think about how Gaga would look! I’d be like Gaga give us “Venus, Sea Shell Girl Bikini Vibes will ya”. Gaga won’t be Gaga on that carpet, she’ll be Aphrodite!  

Aside from Gaga, think of the Slayage of everyone else! It be so exciting to see what everyone will be presented in. And some of our fav Fashion icons would probably serve us some killer looks! 

So do you think it would be a good idea if The Met Gala’s theme was Mythology sometime in the nearby future? I wish this years was! I am a pretty big fan of it, so I think it would be great! Oh and do you think Anne will approve?

Met gala is not that fun anymore, celebs dont take it seriously apart from a few like rihanna who are always spot on.

The themes given can be interpreted in literal or other meanings as well, like previous theme Fashion in the age of technology was interpreted in both ways such as 

Literal way example : zac posen fiber optic gown 

Other meaning example : gaga in versace laser cut costume

 

Both were fashion in the age of technology but with different perception. So what i am trying to say is that the next met gala theme doesnt just mean to dress like a nun or priest, it can be anything.

this, i dont remember if it was last year or 2 years ago but it was so daaaaaamn boring and everybody was out of the theme, smh, everyone in twitter were mad af

Anna should ban anyone who doesn't follow the theme and go there just for promo/exposure. It's the Met Gala damn it.
