The production was horrible and a lot of the songs were poorly written.... I think too many people had their hands in the pot at once! That’s not her best work, it seemed rushed. Art pop is not easy on the ears, it was geared towards a certain audience. I listen to a lot of music! Hell, I write a lot of music. I remember reading a review on ARTPOP a while back where he revises the tracklist to make it more fluent. It was definitely an easier listen imo Religion is a product to sell.
