Born This Way isn't supposed to be an easy listen. But like ARTPOP, there's definitely a whole lot of noise that makes it exhausting to play through.

Marry The Night
Born This Way
Hair
Scheiße
Bloody Mary
Heavy Metal Lover
Electric Chapel
You And I
The Edge of Glory

Whew, we love a revised playlist. Trimming the fat helps a lot.

I only skip The Queen from BTW, I have never heard that song in full to this day...

So you haven’t heard the best of it which’s the bridge+outro at the end :trollga: GO STREAM THE QUEEN NOWW

I can somewhat understand why someone could have trouble getting into some of the songs on Born This Way, but I do not understand people who don't see the beauty of Bloody Mary. It's probably my top 4 (Judas, Marry The Night, TEOG & BM).

I really try to understand what’s the deal with BTW but really. I find it so cringy, from the music to the fashion, i never liked that era and in fact i unstanned during that period. I think the message is important tho but i can’t see the connection with other themes on the album

Really? That’s the album that gave us BTW, TEOG, You and I, Marry The Night, Scheisse and Bloody Mary...

The big deal of BTW is the fact that “biggest pop star ever”was willing to even sacrifice her mega status to put out an album about love and acceptance based on the stories she heard about her own fans during TMBT and her own family stories with music references from 70s/80s rock epic songs that she loves (and her dad as well haha) and other music icons such as Madonna and Whitney Houston, avoiding the shallow pop sound from that time :tony:
