The idea that marijuana is a gateway drug has been scientifically disproven countless times throughout the years. Alcohol and cigarettes are likely to cause individuals to try drugs, but nobody dares to call those “gateway” substances. People try hard drugs because they want to, whether or not they smoke pot.
