Just curious, who's your favorite director, and what is your favorite movie from them?

I have two,

1. Stanley Kubrick

A Clockwork Orange is his best work imo, 2001 ASO is a close second. Just visually, his films are stunning. And I just have a knack for surrealism, just gorgeous work.

2. would have to go to Quentin Tarantino

Master of dialogue. His way with words sound like music to my ears. My personal favorite film from him is Reservoir Dogs, I memorized almost every punchline from that movie.

Now as Kubrick once said "You're an idealist, and I pity you as I would the village idiot."

David Fincher & Quentin Tarantino are the first that come to mind, but I've never closely followed any director's work :diane:

Stanley Kubrick is hands down the best, he takes the top spot with me :tony:

The second one is between Denis Villeneuve and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu - both brilliant contemporaries :tony:

The third one is Jean Pierre Jeunet purely cuz of Amelie... Shut up, his Alien film wasn't that bad :neyde:

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!
