In the interview, Gaga talks about how she studies other artists.....their rise and decay. Her studies helped pave her own career and transformed her into the iconic artist we know and love today. My question is - Do you think she strategically studies "The Art of Fame" till this day? Did Gaga study how pop music was changing its sound after 'ARTPOP', resulting in 'Joanne' and the country inspired sounds we hear today? Or was 'Joanne' a happy accident? I think Joanne era was meant for her to rest while she still keeps her career going as GP forgets the crazy ass artistic Lady Gaga they don't like! I think she mastered the art of fame until BTW where she overexposed herself and she made it worse by releasing a full EDM album in late 2013 when EDM was fading. I think she thought she knew how to handle it but when everything happened (hip injury, Troy, ARTPOP reviews, backlash, etc.) she couldn't take it. And no one is capable of handling all that.
