To be perfectly honest I think her biggest mistake was her not setting boundaries in the beginning. I don't think she realized at the time that She can still have a loving close relationship with her monsters even if she set boundaries. It's that lack of boundaries that has led to "fans" breaking into her house which is so not ok. I love you monsters.
