Doing final prep on the house after work today. Sooo freaking nervous suddenly :toofunny:

My boss has me working and closing the store on Saturday and Sunday. Literally every co-worker aside from him, the assistant manager, and myself are evacuating or they already have. A ton of people here are woefully unprepared from what I can tell but T-ville is usually pretty good about coming together to help each other after these storms...

@Robagaga what's the latest on how hard the East coast of Florida will get it?

Everyone please stay safe and evacuate if you can. From these new projections it doesn't look like I'm in the path anymore but a lot of my family is. Thoughts and prayers with everyone

Where do you live?

I am so priviliged to live such a comfortable life here in Germany, that I donate regularly to people in need. I earn really good money, so I can afford to donate some of it.

This storm is exceptional because the track is so volatile! We dont know for certain yet!

Normally storms have a more linear track, like andrew or Katrina, these are easier to predict,

This storm is different because it is non linear, the jet stream will cause it to make a sharp northwards turn, the problem is that the movements of the jet stream are quasi almost impossible to predict in advance.

Rn all you can do is prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

What I can tell you is that even the best case scenario will bring quite a lot of damage to the east coast of florida, but nothing compared to the catastrophic damage that could occur if it makes a direct hit on Miami or even worse if it goes right through the spine of Florida.

We will most likely know how bad the storm will be for the east floridian coast sometime around tomorrow night. Whenever the NHC starts giving more definitive tracks I will update you guys ASAP.

Regarding intensity, rn noaa is predicting it will be a cat 4 at landfall, however only yesterday night they predicted it was going to be a cat 3! These things change! The more time that passes the more we know! Which is why it's important to always stay up to date!!!

Stay safe in any case!!! take care!!

I feel so worried for you guys :kara:

Thank you out for these updates. This is beyond terrible and there's such a long way to go. We have taken precautions in case so all we can do now is just wait.  Be safe everyone.

You are welcome!!!!!

I feel so useless here on the other side of the world, I would want to be there helping people doing something, anything. I feel so powerless, the least I can do is try to inform people!

:kara: Stay safe! We are worried!

@Decodekid how are you doing man????

The storm is in your area still! Stay safeeee :kara:

thankfully there are no death reports in my country.

We are all safe at home, the only problem are on the streets, most avenues are filled with water...like a lot of it.

The sea level has risen in the coasts, and its bringing in a lot of water to those towns but otherwise, no one's dead.
