But Nicki invented the Harajuku Barbie style :oprah:

Tru but when Gaga was the it girl Nicki was coming on to the scene so from public perception Nicki's style was under the same category of flamboyance

Good luck at least she stopped with the blonde wigs. Come thru 2017 Nicki, she's given more powerful (at least more credible) looks than anytime.

Unmmm all things go is a great song, idk what u talkin bout. Just cause she doesn't make songs like "boom ba boom boom boom boom ba ba ba  boom" (what lyrical genius) doesn't mean she has become boring.

But the real question is, why did Lady Gaga?

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

she was like this because she jumped on the revived avant garde trend caused by gaga, along with rihanna, katy, kesha, you name it :giggle:

Sis Rihanna was on that long before gaga came to relevance.

Wait you dissed The Pinkprint? That album is BY FAR her best album. The other ones have so,e absolute gems, but they're just so stupidly put together, and lack any originality, (bar like 6 songs from each) but Pinkprint both has bops, and then some real emotional and sentimental moments that nicki would have never done befrpe.

Rihanna's been on fashion LSD since 2007

EDIT artists that went wacky after gaga were Katy, Beyonce, Nicki, Kesha, and a bunch of others though

Yeah but you can't deny that Gaga had an impact on all those girls and influenced them to keep up with the extravagant outfits.

:madge: The C*mprint was an incredible album:madge:

I feel like what you call 'her original style' isn't really what she really is. It all seemed super artificial and I think that style was something she or her team came up with to win some attention in the music business. After that, she got sick of acting so much like a pop girl and she just wanted to be rapper imo. And I prefer this Nicki (not attitude-wise tho)

It's called growing up:trollga: As she matured, her preferences and what she wanted to do changed. Some people like to keep being like that until they die like Madonna (and I totally support that, I'm not dragging her) and other people don't
