Once again, I am really surprised at the underperformance of OD. Their second single last year only made it to #3 and that was with an XF performance and a previous #1 single so how will their second single do at this rate? Looks like the world's tiring of OD sooner than I thought. I wish Simon and his record labels would stop making ridiculous predications because they just look stupid when they never achieve them. Did you know that Syco was claiming that if the singles are commercial enough, they could be the best selling band since the Beatles? And that their upcoming tour has the capability of out-selling U2's 360 Tour to become the most successful tour of all time?

JLS will be perfoming their new single on XF this week. Now it's time to see if their time is truly up (they haven't had a #1 since She Makes Me Wanna over a year ago) and have been overtaken by OD. I have to say, I'm impressed to see that Leona's still getting stable sales six years after winning. No other X Factor contestant can say that.

Yeah, considering it's an arena tour with 101 dates, is an end stage concert and 1 out of the 3 legs (Oceania) has only totalled $15.7 million with all 23 gigs completely sold out (when other acts have totalled more there with less dates), you'd think people wouldn't say stupid stuff like that. I thought they'd be making at least $1 million per concert, meaning that they would end up with a total of $101 million at the very least which is pretty awesome for a pop show, but now it looks like they won't make anywhere near that figure.

Just realised all the competition for a #1 album being released between November 12th and 26th. All these albums stand the chance of #1 (and their record labels and their fans sure expect them to) and they're all being released scarily close to one another:

November 12th

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die: Paradise Edition

One Direction - Take Me Home

The Rolling Stones - GRRR! (greatest hits)

November 13th

Greenday - ¡Dos!

Christina Aguilera - Lotus

Susan Boyle - Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs From The Stage

November 19th

Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-up

Rihanna - Unapologetic

Little Mix - DNA

November 26th

Girls Aloud - Ten

Tulisa - The Female Boss

Olly Murs - Right Place, Right Time

Alicia Keys - Girl On Fire

Kelly Clarkson - Greatest Hits: Chapter One

Stooshe - Stooshe

HEARTS WILL BE BROKEN. That is one of the most terrifying release schedules I've ever seen. I am terrified for Lana. I want her to go to debut at #1 (or just get to #1) but against OD, I don't know if she stands a chance. Against the Stones, with a greatest hits no less, who stands a chance? And then Greenday, Xtina and Susan the next day, meaning all five are competing for the same week's #1? Greenday likely won't stand a chance against this line-up and I'll eat my hat if Xtina gets the title. Looks like Bionic will be her last UK #1 album. Susan may see her guaranteed UK #1 scuppered this time. As for November 19th, Rihanna usually has zero competition in the UK when she releases her albums but against Nicki and Little Mix (who'll probably be performing on XF the day before), who knows? And with all the competition over the next week, could this be the first Rihanna album not to get a UK #1 since Rated R? Girls Aloud probably stand the highest chance of that #1 but Tulisa could as well. Olly's always a great first week seller too - they're likely the top runners in this race. Weird that two XF products are releasing albums on the same day. What a nail biter. Three greatest hits collections released in less than 2 weeks is really something. I think the unfortunate thing for American stars is that they underestimate/don't know about British acts who are really big here. Rihanna probably don't even know Little Mix exists, hence Def Jam thought it was ok to release in the UK at that time. And Alicia Keys likely doesn't know who Girls Aloud, Tulisa or Olly are, so thinks her UK release date is safe too. Never underestimate the chart power of UK artists, I say.

And Example's album 'The Evolution of Man' on November 19th

Oh, I forgot that too. I really can't call that week. We'll have to see what XF throws at it on the 19th to perhaps determine an outcome.

Hope that The Paradise Edition will be a climber. I can't wait! :excited2:

I don't know about it being a climber, and I say that as a fan. Its first week sales will likely be its biggest and it will then have a steady downfall, especially after all the hate she's had of late. I do think it will have the biggest longetivity out of all the albums due to be released, though. I so hope she returns to do more gigs in the UK again as I've yet to see her and she's only done one gig in Scotland.

I think 'the new Adele' is a bit of a stretch. Her album still has a long way to go before it even hits a million copies in the UK. But I am impressed that this song is holding its own over JLS as I definitely expected it to be the other way around.

Her album will easily hit a million copies by the end of the year  She'll get huge Christmas sales

Everything she touches right now seems to turn to gold. She's got another collaboration with Naughty Boy just outside the iTunes top 10 aswell
