we live in 2017, album sales are tragic for everyone. In 2016 the second best-selling album in the world sold like 2,8 millon(Lemonade). Tragic numbers. The 2017 year-ending chart will be even more awful.

I think you meant Todays Top Hits but PI also got in there for like a week before they dropped it due to everyone skipping it, while TC lasted a month, so you can't really buy a placement when GP is obviously not responding well

1. And not, that's not a "generous amount of payola". That's completely normal. The difference is that Gaga's label never do stuff like that for her. Even B-Lists artists get a better treatment. That's why we were so surprised. 
2. The Cure radio audience is 35M. Songs can reach that number in like a week. That's not a "generous amount of payola".
