Well, well, well. Told ya'll it was not wise to count BA out just yet.

It's officially a bigger hit in Canada than MR.

:rip:

So it is the DWUW and not the GUY:golfclap:

Excuse me no :rip:

Quote me again when Bon Appétit sells 80k+ and gets as high as MR on POP and HAC radio.

Peaks don't always define hits

Well, the official Billboard Canadian Hot 100 counts all of those you mentioned and streaming.

Sure, MR sold better, had a better radio AI, but BA outpeaked it on the official chart due to streaming, also an important part of the official chart.

Peaks don't define hits, yes, but this thread often lives for one song being higher than the other on iTunes a couple of places, so idk.

DWUW went to #1 on iTunes and stayed top 3 on iTunes canada for days in January 2014. The song peaked at #3 on the Canadian hot 100 only with sales and radio support - no video.

Bon Appétit wishes.

:oprah: But you don't define a hit over 1 week, you define a hit over its overall performance during its entire chart run :oprah:

Right, agreed. So BA has a higher peak on the offcial Canadian chart than MR and The Cure.

Yes but let's wait and see how it does in the next weeks before saying its a bigger hit than The Cure!
