Jason Oh 456 Posted June 9, 2017 Share Posted June 9, 2017 So I usually wouldn't listen to the local radio stations here in Malaysia at all....and would play songs from my own playlist whenever I am driving... but today, I used Uber twice & the radio stations are playing The Cure and I heard it TWICE in the span of 12 hours And it's freaking radio-friendly! Its still very stable at #23 in Spotify Malaysia so I'm glad it seems to be doing well on radio as well. It could be bigger (with better promo: MV, live etc) but I'm sure this is doing better than any 3rd single from Joanne could ever do. Just really happy that the GP is exposed to some GaGa in their lives after the backlash she received here from 2011-2014. People see her in a different light now after MR + Superbowl + TC. It's not gonna be easy to stay relevant after years in the industry + the music listeners getting younger & younger while not recognizing real talent.
