This was as mainstream as she could've gone. Maybe it's not the song, but just the fact that she's unable to just drop a song and do nothing. I guess she's just one of those artists that needs to promote and needs a good MV for a song to be a hit. I mean honestly, Bad Romance would probably have performed just like this if it didn't have a video or promo TC is made for the mainstream and would smash if she promoted it like MR and it atleast had a JW level music video. It's been/it's close to top 10 overall radio in germany, UK, AUS and also did alot better in canada then US. Gaga served one of the biggest halftime shows ever and made MR one of the few females "hits" of this year with good response to the song. But they still refuse to play a song that has shown alot of potential in both response, sales and streams considiring the airplay it has. I don't care if gaga did nothing for the song, LOTB had no video and no peformances during it's single era but it still went #1 on radio. Unless it's interscope that's making the radio not play the song that much( I would not think so) it's so weird of them not to play it. It sticks on all formats except radio while new realeases fall of the charts after a week. TC should easy been top 40 on overall radio by now with healthy 1-2M+ daily updates and not this mess where it's gaining like 0.100 or losing 0.100. I dont see a turning unless the video is bad romance level and Viral and it comes within 1 month. Also even if she does promo i dont know what kind of show she could go on to have impact enough to turn this single around. She even said herself she likes to focus on one thing at a time. Edit: Just remembered she probably has to start preparing for the Tour when ASIB is done. Tbh the timing is just ****.
