They still like her in the UK and a few other select European countries, but there's severe losses in nearly every market it, the US in particular basically dropping her. She's rising from buzz, sure, but I have followed charts long enough to know neither SS nor BA will stick anywhere, and while CTTR did, like i said, the payola was massive. Capitol is paying for Katy. Fair enough. This I can agree with. I think it's far too early to tell anything else. But thats only my opinion.

Last time I check she sold out 10 shows in US and majority of it were bought by resale sites. She keeps adding dates, for a total of 850k tickets in US, I dont think her team is dumb, she must have high demand

She isnt doing how everyone was expecting, and her standards are way lower than years ago, but she still eats Gaga at breakfast in terms of success Define success, because Gaga isn't even in the same league at this point. Let's not lower standards here. Gaga has built up massive critical acclaim and GP respect and is slowly rebuilding her commercial appeal. As far as I see MR dances circles around CTTR in terms of US success, while if it weren't for the ticket bundle Witness wouldn't be getting half of what Joanne debuted first week, let alone total. It's so hard to even compare right now because Katy's payola is so massive you can't even get a clear picture of her true success right now.

Sadly our girl's tour is not a real ww tour as of yet and may have a smaller gross in the end. I totally get it, tho. She has to take care of herself. It's really a shame she probably won't add Oceania or SA dates. Australia at least deserves a show, or even a visit for starters. Meanwhile I'm really curious to know what her next steps will be after wrapping filming. I'm guessing she'll jump right into planning the tour, but giving some attention to TC would be nice while it's still alive.

The touring industry is such a scam tbh.

She's going to have to stand on her own two feet next album cycle, because there's no way Capitol's going to be promoting her as heavily next time around after this. And radio will probably start giving up too. It'll be Joanne 2.0, but Katy won't have a series of acclaimed performances to sway people in her favour. Katy promoted CTTR like..2 times? And im not talking bout the album, I was saying that she is selling tickets very well even if they are very expensive, and the ticket bundle has nothing to do with that

Naufri 7,424
Katy era will be better than Joanne, by a good margin in terms of incoming. Regarding to profitability not gonna be too far, and maybe will be less profitable if SWSW don't stick at the end. Joanne era was very cheap, label didn't invest much, and most of the promo was Gaga performing everywhere for free. Capitol has spent a lot of money already, and each copy redeemed with the bundle tour is sold without profit. Considering they are even sending by mail for free, the physical copies sold with thw bundle are even less profitable. They are spending money to save the brand Katy Perry from failure.
