Why would she choose artists carefully all her career and then suddenly collaborate with trashy artists like Nicki? I feel disgusted that I wrote the words Gaga and Nicki in one comment... I can't see Gaga and Azealia doing again, that ship has set sail. The latter has really shown that she is an unstable person with a bad temper and literally no remorse for the headaches she causes people. No amount of talent (and let's be for real, Azealia is mediocre - she's not that great) can make up for being a horrible person. It goes against everything Gaga's worked hard for, which is building a more empathetic community online and in our daily lives. As for Nicki, Minaj seemingly has a bit of distaste for Gaga - at least earlier on in their careers. Minaj was upset at all the comparisons, and although some were reaches, obviously she had to know the two would be compared between their unique fashion senses. Hopefully that's all under the bridge, but as far as I know, the two haven't ever even been photographed together. Jewels N Drugs was cute, but it was more than enough. Gaga doesn't need rap music, even if it's just a feature.
