Exactly my same feelings. Honestly just think she released this song as a buzz single for Coachella and the after effect. Plus it hushed a lot of the stan community that only wants electropop...kind of like a treat for them before she goes full country-rock for ASIB. I'll be geniuely shocked if she invest time or money into a video for this song.

Yes, there will be a video because Richie confirmed it via instagram live. Why would she not release a video to a song that is currently doing better than her last two singles (streaming wise)? Also, JW took 2 days to shoot so this one probably didn't take much time either. My guess is that they are waiting for more people to know about the song to release it or the views will be awful

We're totally getting one. I wasn't getting my hopes up in the early days, especially if it was just a buzz single but now I'm convinced. She wouldn't have gone to all that trouble of posing in a silk room with a chair and getting dressed up just for one photo. Then the lyric video came along consisting of moving images of her sitting in the chair with her arms together, arms apart, lounging on the chair and lounging on the arms, all with the silks billowing. Again, that is a lot of trouble to go for just for a song with no video. If she's already done all this, why not just go all the way and make a full-on video? Plenty of videos nowadays are very basic, so no one's going to be bashing her for not trying hard enough, after all. And a video of some kind will ensure that the fans are kept happy. It's just a matter of when it's coming out. Timing is everything. The song still has some more room to grow. The lyric video has really caused its itunes numbers to rise. It's gaining well within the top 30 in the US (could easily make #24 real soon) and its risen all the way to #9 in the UK (Niall just overtook her). I can't remember the last time a Gaga song rose to the top ten on itunes 3 weeks after release. I don't think she's done that since her TFM days. Keep this up and then drop the video and it could be huge. As for the video itself, yeah, it'll be basic. Maybe on the lines on MR. I just don't think she planned the song to have amazing visuals, it was all about giving her fans a gift and hopefully getting a hit while she can't promote at the moment. Whatever type of video it is, we should just be grateful that we're getting one. If she's done this shoot for the lyric video, she probably shot the entire thing while she was at it.

You have to time these things very carefully. A lot of videos nowadays can take weeks, maybe even months, to be released after the song's been out. Total opposite to the way things used to be, but it's the path that's the most successful. Ed Sheeran's only just put out his video for Galway Girl today despite the public downloading that song the most from his album that came out 2 months ago. And judging by the video, I doubt it took ages to plan and film. Nowadays, labels tend to wait until a song becomes huge on streaming platforms before putting out the video, to ensure people are thirsty for it and give it a lot of views. There's a very big possibility that Gaga's already got it all ready to release and is just waiting until the song has hit peak thirst. Maybe she wants it to be within the US itunes top 20 or thereabouts. It's rising all the time, so there's a chance. If the song is still increasing after all this time, it means that it's not just the fans who are downloading it, the public is getting on its side. That means good things for its future.
