Yes, just a warning, it could give you out of the body experiences and lucid dreams, just focus in sleeping and not in your breathing lol

Is it best to play at a low level?

Omg true that song is a bop (and the 80s song it samples is too)

I wouldn't advise it because there's this phenomena known as hearing fatigue which you may or may not experience; it's a little tricky to explain but I'll do my best. Basically, your brain cannot fully rest when listening to music so it alters the pitch and tone of the song you listen to when you fall asleep.

Experienced that with a few songs I used to fall asleep to. Now I only can stand listening to those songs for that purpose because I can't unhear it in that lower pitch  (also partly because now those songs are associated with trying to sleep, and make me feel tired)

Some of these might be up your alley, ashae, so here are some personally suggestions/songs I fall asleep to

Whispering

Scientists have found one song that's proven to reduce anxiety and help you fall asleep better than others- "Weightless" by Marconi Union. The song's flowing harmonies, soft chimes, and rhythms replicate a heartbeat and were crafted in collaboration with sound therapists to be relaxing.
