Find me proof that such a thing has ever happened, and I will believe that little theory. It just doesn't work like that. Cher's label is only concerned about Cher's success. So to release a GaGa duet, while GaGa isn't doing anything else would bring Cher's new album a massive amount of attention which is what they need/want. I find it unlikely too, but who knows how much money Interscope have to throw at an artist to convince them to delay the release of a track to benefit another. If Cher releases her duet, it will ruin everything, so of course Gagas label wouldnt want that Secondly, Cher sounded like her album was almost done. Then she said the vocals werent great and needed improvement, then she said the album sint finished and started to come up with 1 excuse after another. Of course Gagas label is paying Chers label to delay the release.
