Does this suggest that congress is secretly setting up plans to impeach him? And maybe rather than face the embarrassment of being impeached he'll resign? But I think the Republicans have also been using Trump to try to rush out as much of their policy as possible while hes still in office and such a polarizing figure with so much power. In other words, other than possibly the wall and the Muslim Ban, I'm not sure anything Trump has done or said has been his own thought or even close. If he does resign or get impeached, the Republicans can blame him for defunding the arts, taking away school lunches, cutting urban housing, planned parenthood, etc. even though it's things they have wanted to do for a long time, but couldn't because the tides were shifting and becoming more liberal. Remember in 2012 when people realized that they'd never get elected again with an Anti-Gay, Anti-Women, Anti-Black nominee ever again? Well, Trump showed them that that's not necessarily true, you just have to lie through your teeth and use fear to win . I have a feeling they will try to paint Pence as a clean slate refresh with a "Real Republican" and then he will be able to continue ****ing things up on a economic and social level without people being like "He's literally crazy!" and may see more support. It's all theoretical though. I think he might resign before hes Impeached tbh, but like... thats only if what they have is way more devious than any of us are thinking, and even then.. Paul Ryan is literal scum, so who knows.
