Biggest Rap Albums of All Time

Billboard released its list of the Top rap albums of all time.

Because sales have changed and streaming has been added, Billboard based this on the albums time on the Billboard 200.

For example, an album that sold 2 million copies in 1999, may not necessarily be bigger than an album that sold 700K in 2016. Sales have changed and the album that sold 700K maybe have spent more time on the chart and more time in the Top 10 than the album that sold 2 million copies in 1999. It's pretty fair tbh

So here we go:

1. Please Don’t Hammer - MC Hammer
2. Recovery - Eminem
3. 400 Degreez - Juvenile
4. The Heist - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
5. The Eminem Show - Eminem
6. 2014 Forest Hills Drive - J Cole
7. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill - Lauryn Hill
8. Take Care - Drake
9. Country Grammar - Nelly
10. Get Rich or Die Tryin’ - 50 Cent
11. Dr Dre — 2001 - Dr. Dre
12. Tha Carter III - Lil Wayne
13. If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late - Drake
14. The Chronic - Dr. Dre
15. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 - Eminem
16. Pink Friday - Nicki Minaj
17. good kid, m.A.A.d city - Kendrick Lamar
18. To Pimp A Butterfly - Kendrick Lamar
19. The Don Killuminati - Makaveli (Tupac)
20. Paper Trail - T.I.

Harry

Well this list wasn't what I was expecting at all. Seems a little off somehow. Surprised to see no Kanye or Jay-Z.

That's such a weird list. I expected Tupac and Jay-Z to be up there. And Eminem's Marshall Matters LP 1 and Slim Shady LP were huge back then, I can't believe Recovery, Eminem Show and MMLP2 became more successful than those, I guess it was the hype for his comeback.
