SKANK 14,288
Last week on Real Time With Bill Maher he said that transgender people were "vastly disproportionately involved in sex crimes," implying that they are the aggressors and not the victims. That is an offensive and harmful lie. He did not correct his lie, or issue an apology. In response to that statement, made on live television, his publisher did not retract the release of his book, and Breitbart (obviously) said nothing. This week, the media circulates old videos of him in which he explicitly condemns pedophilia while at the same time flippantly discussing his own experience being molested. Milo issues a rare apology to anyone offended, and reiterates that child abuse is a horrific crime. In response his publisher's retract the release of his book, and Beitbart forces his resignation. There are a thousand different reasons why any journalistic entity would have been justified in forcing him to resign, and there are a thousand different reasons why a publisher would be justified in rejecting his work. This was a very weird place to draw the line, in my opinion.
