I love them :)

Watched ep 3 again last night once I had a HD version (as you do).

mostly talk about the ep, but kind of references later stuff

Did anybody think Tyrions voice was weird in the scene where Shae was getting told she could work in the kitchen? Also its obvious they're setting up some distance between those two which will play out later, which I am sad about because they were still quite close in the second book, despite her confinement.

I love how b---hy Brienne was to Lady Stark "You should kneel before the king", considering where these two end up.

I have come to terms with how they handles Arya's story now, and i think considering what they had to cut for time and budget reasons (the keep burning would have been epic though), they still made it enjoyable for the people who had read the books, like throwing in Lommy's death still and the whole "you got him" was quite clever. I would rather they do something like this, so that Blackwater can get the scale it deserves.

Somehow I didn't pick up on that- probably because I forgot about what happens between the two towards the end of SoS, but now that I remember...

Yes the "you got him" line was quite clever! We'll see how Weiss and Benioff play out the rest of Arya's storyline. I'm keeping my eyes on Jaqen H'gar

Before the announcement of Season 3:

:dies:

the 2nd one :dies:

I was on a video game live feed and the host said a big spoiler by accident :lmao: :lmao: this is tooo funny for me.

Interview with Oona Chaplin (Jeyne)

http://winteriscoming.net/2012/04/interview-with-oona-chaplin/#more-16652

Not much, but the part where she says that it will be "unexpected" has me thinking that a particular character has been replaced..

Are you referring to

Jeyne Poole?

no (Good ol' GRRM naming characters the same thing), this is a much more relevant Jeyne whose third story plot is being dragged into the second season with Robb. Although what the article is suggesting is that she may not actually be playing the Jeyne in question, rather her character is an adapted version of this character who really isn't explored much in the books.

I know who Jeyne Westerling is, but I'm a little confused at whose character is being "replaced."

Nice! :golfclap: ^

Are you referring to

Jeyne Poole?

Books 3/5 spoiler talk

Actually yes. I was thinking that maybe Weiss and Benoiff will get rid of Jeyne Poole altogether and have Westerling fill for her much later on. Ok this is what Im predicting: Jeyne W. marries Robb Stark and is basically "Queen in the North." Then the Red Wedding happens and Ramsay Snow/ Roose Bolton or whomever it was takes Westerling and marries her- pretending Westerling is Arya Stark? But then again...

I'm just speculating for now- we'll see what happens..

I really don't feel like starting this next Theon chapter. Ughhh

I've only had one Theon chapter so far in my reading, but as soon as I saw "Theon" at the top I let out a huge sigh.

I feel many many more sighs to come, sadly. It will be a tradition of mine every time I see "Theon" at the top of the page to let out a sigh.

I'm obsessed with this series, but only halfway through Clash of Kings, so I'm staying away until I'm done reading!

Love the show.

I am on his second one. It's like being stuck in a straight guys head. Oh well, Arya chapter next! It's driving me on!
