Lion Heart 15,041 Posted June 4, 2013 Author Share Posted June 4, 2013 i didnt read the books but ive heard about the red wedding scene but i was not prepared for that T_T. i hate the lannisters so much. quick question are the books done or is there more being written? There are still two more books to come. The last book was released in 2011 and hardcore fans are not expecting the next book till mid-late 2014, or maybe even later than that. So we still have a while to go. As for challengers to the Iron Throne, there's Stannis and Daenerys as the obvious two, but Dany won't challenge till she's done in Essos or whatever. The Greyjoys (there's more than just Theon, Yara, and Balon) will also attempt to fight for the Iron Throne later on, as well as the Martells (who will probably be introduced next season). And then we have this other group who'll contest for the Iron Throne as well but we haven't been introduced to them yet and I don't want to spoil it for some folks. None of the Starks are contesting the Iron Throne since they simply can't, and they have no desire to seek the Throne. I care about good intriguing plots and complex characters. The Starks were painfully dull and seemed to be spinning the wheel this entire season, and its Robb's fault anyway.
