Starting Feast for Crows tonight!
Was going to try holding off for longer, but I really need a asoiaf fix.
So looking forward to Cersei chapters.

Whited out because just knowing a character is alive is kinda a spoiler for this series.

Oh ****, just saw the trailer.

I'm here for the bear and Brienne scene, and I saw Tyrion carrying a hatchet

Is that Ygritte @ 1:04?

So excited for that scene!
Yeah, i'm pretty sure that's Ygritte. People in the comments are freaking out thinking it's Sansa.. lol no...

lmfao. Oh, Kit.

Yeah, I hear FfC is pretty underwhelming after the perfection of Storm of Swords.

However, I also hear that Cersei chapters help pick up the slack, so i'm really looking forward to her as a pov character!

Just really not looking forward to reading about a bunch of Greyjoys I don't care about.

most of the usual suspects have made it back to this thread i see ;)

Just finished watching S1 and 2 again on DVD, starting on the commentaries for S2 now (12 commentary tracks for 10 episodes is a good effort, dvds are defiantly worth buying)

Pretty excited from these promos though! going to be a good week, turn 21 on the 30th march, premiere a couple of days after and I have the week off :)

I should get back to reading (havnt touched ADWD in 6 months or so), but thinking of reading ASOS again along with the show

Eh... without saying much, it's like Martin's writing style changes drastically after book 3.

^My opinion on the 4th and 5th books is that they are very much just trying to bridge the gap. From what I have read, there was originally meant to be a significant time gap between the events after the 3rd book and the 4th, but instead AFFC and ADWD were written. But this is more for the story told, there are also various other issues like King mentions with the actual writing style.

This is speculation of the events of S3, so defiantly dont open if your not up with the books.

So can we pretty much confirm that GRRM is writing ep 7 that it will be the ...... you know what. Which seems odd that EP 9 is usually the BIG one, but i think it will also be good to have 3 episodes afterwards to resolve the events. From plot pacing, If this IS the case, I would expect the characters removed from this central plot line like Dany and Jon's stories will place heavier in S4. But back to ep 9, the rains of castamere was sung at another major event, (which i hadnt expected to be included in this season), but I think it will be a pretty amazing season if this is the case.

No, Episode 9 will be the big one again (Red Wedding). Martin wrote "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" (Ep. 7) and that will have to do with Brienne/ Bear/ Jaime.

Unheard Beat

I'm currently reading the second book and just finished watching the first season. And I must say, I LOVED IT! I'm curious how this book will turn out, and I'm even more curious about how he'll be able to keep it fresh or not. I keep hearing that it gets dull though? :C
