All she did was give her backhanded compliments and then finished it off by saying Beyoncé would upstage her just by being there. She was being nice, defending Gaga against body-shamers, thought she looked great (probably after seeing her SB show pics) but then she said that it was good Gaga didn't bring out Beyonce because she would upstage her. Which is true to be honest, but I think this is only true in regards to the press. We know the press and GP worships Bee so all the press will talk more about her than Gaga. But knowing Gaga, we know she will make the show in the way where it would be more like a collaboration and they will look equals than her ended up being a guest. I mean, Gaga has performed alongside many Greats in the industry and she has always held her own next to them. There's a reason why icons respect her. Icons always talk about her artistry, musician & vocal ability and her songwriting as opposed to "oh i love her music, it's so fun to listen to" like she's just the trendy one at that time. They always talk about Gaga like a colleague. So performance wise, I don't think Beyonce will upstage her, instead I think the performance will look more like a performance that they both collaborated with and that Gaga would actually look better with Beyonce than worse.
