CD quality even in lossless is compressed this will be the raw audio that is what it would've sounded like when they were putting it together in the studio before they exported it to the relevant formats. If you have expensive headphones (because they're better quality detectors than earphones) you can hear the difference in the vocal stem tracks, especially the volume and clarity of the BGvox and some instrumentation will be better quality like the Sß main synth is louder and less distorted/masked. Which in itself is already pretty high quality, I use it myself when I rip CDs, but the switch to 24 Bit means that you have a much higher (theoretical) bandwidth, so much more information can go through. But you need the hardware (a soundcard and headphones that support it, some high end phones start supporting it as well) as well as the software (something like VLC will play it just fine) in order to take advantage of it. TL;DR: If you don't have the equipment, it doesn't make much sense for you, and 16 Bit FLAC from a CD is still perfectly fine. A CD only supports 44.000KhZ and 16 bits. If you get 24 bits it's just an upscale, empty space. ¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?

The samples are in 192kbps mp3 Probably because the samples were much louder than the volume I usually listen my music too. giskardsb 12,565
awesome. should be better high end detail and just a more "airy" feel overall over the CD, but it will probably take pretty good equipment to hear it.

It sounds really appealing. Sennheiser, Akg and Klipsch all make some of the best in-ear and over-ear earphones. Here's a really good site where you can filter the price range and quality you're looking for. https://www.headphone.com/collections/audiophile I have a pair of Sennheisers that are really comfortable and durable. The only issues I have with this pair is they're not very pretty and they look enormous on my head and so I barely go out with them. Hopefully the site helps you. If you really enjoy music and listen for hours every day, then yes! You should definitely look for higher quality audio. Depending on how the music is mixed, it can be a totally different and better experience for you and really worth the extra money. Songs that I've listened to a million times before can still make me want to just sit back and ignore everything else.
