I think she's cut one too many people off of her team and we're seeing the results now but I'm sticking around because I like this site

I feel like you typed this to get a hit thread.:creepflop:

srsly we all (or majority of us) loved Gaga because she helped us go through something. It was an escape for us in the glamorous world she created.

this era for her is she wanting us to realise some of the things she created isn't real. She wants us to grow up with her. For her, it's her trying to be herself and start to follow her gut more. Not saying her previous work were fake, just that she can be as crazy as we think, some things we fantasise about isn't real, you think GOAT was real? Like seriously?

Its so not Pop Culture of her to tell you the truth but she has expressed as an artist, I loved that. I loved her previous work but this album has got me thinking what I really love about her. It was how genuine she is, the cute little gestures at interviews, meltdowns on twitter etc made me love her, I love her because she is a human just like us but she is strong and gave me insights of my life. I did not love her just because she delivers bops and slay all the charts.

So bye fan of Fame, I'm gonna stan Gaga hard because she is a human I love.

Every album after Born This Way will be her comeback album if you're thinking the way you're thinking. She has very little hope of achieving the success she had in the first three to five years of her career. You don't realize how massive Gaga was, her fame was unprecedented for someone coming into the scene like she did. It took Madonna (not comparing her to Madonna, just comparing success stories) four singles in the span of two years before she had a top ten hit in the States before blowing up thereafter. It took Gaga one/two number one singles in the span of less than half a year

Has she lost her touch? No, she still has it. She just doesn't want to use her creativity or her resources like she used to. It's tiring after a while and, with Joanne, it feels as if all she wants to do is wind down, and create and perform music she's wanted to for awhile instead of the synth-pop, electronic dance-pop she's been doing for the first six years of her career. The Joanne era is showcasing her ability her ability to make a compromise between her desires and everyone else's; is she doing a great job? Perhaps not to some fans, but she's at least trying to promote a commercial product that she fully enjoys promoting and doesn't feel so bogged down by current trends and such (Dancin in Circles is the exception obvs). But you look at songs like John Wayne, Perfect Illusion, A-YO, and Million Reasons and you see that she's bringing originality to the table like she did with The Fame when she basically revolutionized the music industry with her aesthetic and further pushed the industry into the digital age

Additionally, after a while, don't you think you get bored of having to be what everyone wants you to be? Like, Gaga wrote an entire song about it and she still gets slack for doing what she wants to do. Sure, we don't have to like what she does, but that doesn't mean we stop supporting her. If we do, it means that we cannot make compromises as fans to Gaga when she's been doing that for almost the entirety of her mainstream career

Then again, this is GGD, home of fans who tear you down because you release a boring video when you've been giving them cutting edge videos for your first four albums, then when you refrain from releasing a video, you make it up by making a high-budget video that no one ends up watching so it's no surprise you're not going to go as HAM on videos this era until you see that there is a market for such complex and intricate videos. Should've bought ARTPOP and streamed G.U.Y. af is what it all comes down to

Just so long you actually leave and not making a new account like many others did here. Cos otherwise, why fxcking bother srsly?! :ladyhaha:

Also, don't wait for her future albums, she won't go back, she'll only move forward, so be it LG6,7,8,9,etc, so long you still put Gaga in certain light and certain frame, you will never be truly satisfied.

Goodnight, good riddance, and good luck.

I think one of the million reasons (lol) why she became who she is today is the way she treated her fans in the first place. Remember she was the first huge singer in decades (correct me if I'm wrong) to give a name to her fans, she put us on a pedestal because we were here for her and that's why she felt indestructible. But then, BTW came out and began to divide her fanbase, she started getting backlash because of her single choices, outfits, music videos, way to act during interviews etc.

I think her creativity breakdown came right at this time and she started having all those blackouts in every kind of ways. I think she lost tracks on why she created all of this in the first place and what she wanted to say through her music/imagery, and how much attention should have been given to us. Then, she was probably told by Elton John, Tony Bennett and surely others that her music kinda sucked and that she could "do better", which she obviously nodded to. She just won't accept to do things because she feels like it and instead try hard not to be a pop star anymore, not to be associated with any other girl in the game (by highlighting the fact that SHE writes her music, SHE produces it and so on) because she's on another level you know. Well, that's not really true because she indeed has lost her creativity along with the great people who used to work with her and I don't see how she could have it back by simply trying to be everything she wasn't during the early years while missing the point of all this : people don't care. They don't care if you start to dress like a "normal girl", they don't are if you wear a lot of makeup, they don't care if you're doing crazy sh*t, all of this AS LONG AS you have created a vibe on your own, something unique. That is something she missed while making Joanne imo.

She cares too much about what other people say and it's simply petty and destructing her creativity. Of course, that's just the way I see it

Well I hope you find something you actually enjoy I guess? One less person posting their boring opinion, the way I see it.

I'm so annoyed with dramatic fans making a whole thread to announce how they are no longer a fan. Like can't you just quietly move on?

This music video is making everyone turn crazy and ready to hand in their stan card. I hate the music video too but I'm nowhere near ready to jump unlike some of ya'll. Just think we have the Superbowl in like 7 weeks and the anticipation leading up to it. Then we have the tour coming aswell. I'm literally blocking the MR video out of my head and looking towards more exciting times.

So your entire basis of not supporting her is because of the mv? :emma:

bye, go stan for beyonce or something

This.

the all night video is basically raw footage of blue ivy and jay z having random family moments and that 5 minute intro where she talks about napkins or w/e but everyone praises THAT :air:

I agree with you and I totally understand you. I don't want you to leave, though. I'm not saying bye, because I think that's tired. But if you want to leave, then leave.

I discovered Gaga Daily this year, and all I can say about this site is that it has a lot of good people, and also a lot of bad people. Some fans here are just so shady and delusional that it makes me cringe. They don't want to see the truth. They want to protect Gaga like a daughter, and they forget how much she's been through and how tough she is.

The fact that she has lost her mojo is obvious. Everybody knows it, but they want to deny it with some bullshit so they can stick around with the other fans.

Joanne is not really an interesting album. It has some good songs, like Diamond Heart, but it's not enough. Gaga is different. Almost everything about her has changed. And honestly I don't feel the need to be a fan of someone else. I want her back like she used to be, but I'm sure that's not going to happen.

The good news is that I still love her voice. I still want to watch her at the Superbowl and everything, because I love the old Gaga and that love will never go away. That's why I think it's extremely harsh to see the fans saying "bye we won't miss you", because we are all the same. We loved Gaga the same way, no matter what opinions we have on the new album.
