Hopefully this means EA will FINALLY be held accountable for how they’ve messed up all the IPs under them from BioWare and The Sims as well!

Yess. And add Alice & Dead Space games there too. From my understanding, Devs wanted to make more games but it was EA saying no, and holding the IP. There's probably more cases which I don't recall right now. But their handling of IPs (and studios) is so weird and sad actually, for the devs who worked/works on the games and it's EA coming in messing things up. I've read comments from devs who were excited to work on a project but its the management coming down to f things up.

I am also getting a bit sidetracked here, but reading how the game making culture is, having to do insane crunch hours and other stuff. I was looking at some dev files, and the dates were from 1 to 5am, like shouldn't that kinda be the time to be off the work? Like, so quite a few have came out saying how some dev times were absolutely not good time. And maybe that's something we also should look into, sure we consumers want products right now, but maybe we can wait a year or two longer, so the devs don't burn out. No game should be more important than persons health. BUT, maybe this petition, AND the Save Physical Games petition will make some of the big guys re-think how they run thei company, most likely not. But this is a good start.

Sorry, long text, its a bit all over the place and not really related to anything, I haven't slept hahaha.
