JbGaga 2,261
I don't see it as being a timeless ever lasting album... Like the Body guard, Come on over, Jaggared little pill, 21.... Idk what else I feel about it.

The weakest on the album tbh. ----- On 11/28/2016 at 11:11 AM, Versace19069 said: #8 6 Inch feat. The Weeknd 7,18 Highest score 11 @jujubae @Antonio Lowest score 1 @Andy21 @jujubaeAfter much deliberation, I've come to the conclusion that this is my favorite from Lemonade. It was tough (being tied with four other songs that is!), but this song is a tried-and-true banger: essences of Bey's previous best R&Bangers, it has the club vibe, the husky whisper, and a fabulous feature by The Weeknd, whose voice serves as the perfect compliment to Bey's moans and snarls. It's a stomping fun time, full of enough mystery and charisma to keep you on the edge of your seat, or in the middle of a smokey club. It's a track that hasn't lost its flavor, even after all of these months, and although my absolute favorite changes depending on my mood, this is one of Lemonade's highest high points, a cathartic experience much needed in the mix of the records heavier themes. @Antonio I mean... Girl... It's amazing from beginning to end, the "6 inch heels / She walked in the club like nobody's business", to The Weeknd's verses, it's for sure my favorite song on the record. ...so me and @Antonio's stanning ain't enough for y'all? Officially over yall and ya **** tastes tbh, c'mon Antonio grab my coat, we're leaving. Spoiler ----- 6 Inch #8 and Don't Hurt Yaself #7????? Do you guys have ears??? My comment about **** taste is starting to apply......... wondering where tf my other 3 favorites are. ----- Ok... reaching the Top 3 and happy to see my other three favorites in the running. TBH I'd say All Night deserves the #1 spot, or Freedom. We shall see... ----- On 11/28/2016 at 11:35 AM, FlopSlurper said: Wish I rated so I could give all of them 0 Flop wanna catch these hands..... I remember exactly where I was when the video dropped itself online ever-so casually, and I was left positively speechless in the very best way possible, something I haven't felt by a single/video in who knows how long. Did Beyonce just deliver an ode to celebrating her blackness in a country that, more often than not, condemns/despises such a thing, and singing directly to a crowd that had for a long time assumed she was forfeiting her identity to appeal more to white audiences? YES. Considering the heat in all matters dealing with race, an internal war ignited around 2012 but forever present in this screwed up country since its earliest days, there wasn't a more appropriate time for this song to reveal itself. A day before Bey would honor the Black Panthers at the Superbowl, one of AmeriKKKa's whitest institutions, she brought us all to attention and held us by the ear until she was finished. In the grand scheme of Lemonade's themes, it doesn't quite flow with the themes of infidelity. But in her celebration of blackness and identity, and considering the racial climate in this country, this song was more than appropriate: it was, is, and will forever be, revolutionary. @Antonio I mean... This song SLAYS. Period. #1 Freedom feat. Kendrick Lamar 8,94 Highest score 11 @colbyxreeves @scottishmonster @KinneyUnderYou Lowest score 1 @Andy21 @jujubae My favorites on the album can really be tied between 5 songs (Don't Hurt Yourself, Freedom, Formation, All Night, and 6 Inch), but I can't give them all an 11 so here we go! 'Freedom' is one of the most relevant cuts from the album, and the presence of Kendrick on the track is no mistake: back and forth, these two go H.A.M. during the verses and Lamar's bars, and Beyonce slays that chorus. Considering the amount of flak Bey had been getting these past few years for not being "as vocal as she could've been" about the #BLM Movement (pfft), she really came through with this album. Both 'Freedom' and 'Formation' charged head-first into a very hot button issue, more on which I'll get to in my comments on Lemonade's first single. Besides those obvious undertones, the song relates to me in a different way, considering the legal troubles I recently became embroiled in at the beginning of the year. In a way, we are all chasing the every elusive 'freedom'. Bey really makes the chase feel as if it's not a lost cause. @KinneyUnderYou No words. My iconic discourse. Among my greatest contributions to this forum, ur welcome. ----- #8, #7, #3, #2, and #1... This rate wasn't a complete failure. I can rest assured knowing some of you recognize talent. @Versace19069 thank you for including me, and don't forget to let me know when the COADF Rate happens, I do love that album as well. Take care hennies. Juju, out. ❤ x ❤
