Lady Gaga on song about Trayvon Martin: 'How can I not say something?'

Lady Gaga is opening up about what could become one of the most talked about songs on her forthcoming new album, "Joanne."

This song will do exactly what the album intends to do: heal us all. It needs to be a single tbh.

RUSH RELEASE IT NOW:wtfga:

In all seriousness, this is Gaga's career masterpiece--some of her best lyrics, vocals, and melodies in one timeless and timely song.

Someone make a very heart wrenching video about shootings and racism in the US with it as background music! Let it go viral! Let it heal the world!

You are small men. You are not worthy to rule the Dothraki.

Time for unpopular opinions :awesome:

...It is a beautiful song, but its political in a very discreet way. I'm conflicted tbh. I appreciate it's inspiration, but at the same time how telling is it that we can praise people for being "political" only when they aren't "shoving it in our faces" :air: Everyone can get behind a vaguely political "love the world" kind of sentiment, but when they are faced with the reality of these situations and problems, they shy away because its uncomfortable (#privilege)

(e.g., the idea that the actual BLM movement is just too abrasive and angry to get things done! Maybe if they talked about it quietly, people would listen  )

Before ya'll flame me, this is not a comment on Gaga at all, just kind of the society surrounding all of this, I'm usually really pensive @ 12 am, I apologize  If anything, I think its good that she specifically talked about her inspiration for the song and said #BlackLivesMatter though.

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

I don't believe it's a good single choice but it is her masterpiece/best ballad I'd like her to perform it at the Superbowl aside from the theatrics
