I reaaaaally don't buy this. Seems like a fake. If this was a Lou Reed song written for Bowie, SHE WOULD 100% ADMIT THAT. She is a HUGE Bowie fan. If she was doing a B-side cover, she would scream it from the rooftops.

I hope it is fake. I wonder where they got Lou Reed from.

Probably fake. Gagapedia is pretty unreliable as they never source anything. Watch it just be some scammer trying to sell a fake recording so they edited the page as "proof."

The only thing Gaga took for The Fame was instrumentals, like on ARTPOP.

Hopefully, just pretty weird that they said Lou Reed.

it's probably fake. Gagapedia used to have sources I think but removed them. Not to mention, it is a wikipedia article. Anyone can go in and edit it.

Plus Gaga is a huge Bowie fan. She got a tattoo of him. I think she'd let everyone know if she did a cover.

Not the biggest fanwiki thing I've seen, but it's still interesting someone made one little change to see if they could rile some people.

I mean, it does sound like his voice in some parts but there are others where it hardly sounds like him.

Something also strange is the fact that it's the only video with the song with very few views. If you search for 'david bowie brown eyes' the only page related to the song is Gagapedia, which is not really reliable since anybody can edit the page.

Also, how can 2007 Lady Gaga, a completly unknown artist with a completly unknown producer, get a song (or even the money to buy it) written by Lou Reed with a demo sung by David Bowie?

All of this sounds like some Grammy tribute hater trying way too hard.

If you look at the history of that Gagapedia page, you can see the part about Lou Reed and David Bowie was added on July 11, 2014 by the admin Dirty Gogo. Here is his profile: http://ladygaga.wikia.com/wiki/User:Dirty_Gogo

The page seems to be protected from editing and hasn't been changed since this addition. Maybe someone could ask him about this and see if he remembers where the information came from.

This is soooo fake. Doesn't sound like Bowie, and the production sounds like they just altered the instrumental for brown eyes. It's a total gaga track, she wrote it. If she had a Bowie track penned by Lou reed during this time she would have said something about it. :nails:
