Maybe we were just used to tons of promos prior to release of the album Let's hope they'll deliver the best for the rest of this era

PartySick 159,825
I could go either way tbh I'd love a big, busy era with flashy stuff and godly bops but I also love this toned down, laid back, chill era with music that you can really just sit and listen to I'm easy to please I guess As long as Gaga's happy, I'll be happy. 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

zerojk 4,954
The fact that we are missing ARTPOP era, ARTf*ckinPOP era.... says it all... i try really hard to support her with everything she does... I actually think that the music she's releasing this Friday sounds really good... but I think 80% of the fanbase agree that this era is being ridiculously boring and predictable... and yes, it also disappoints me that she made us wait 3 years for such a lazy era, she had more than enough time to make great music and plan every single detail... but the reality is that she just recorded the LEAD SINGLE some months ago... i still have faith in the superbowl performance tho... RochestrMonstr 3,183
I understand why some people might be frustrated with this era so far. Not me though. Im content with this era. It hasn't even happened yet, but I can just tell I'm going to love the album. The sound of Joanne aligns with the rest of my favorite music, more so than her previous albums, so I'm fine with the simple era we've got so far. There are performances coming up soon anyway. A flamboyant album like ARTPOP needed to have a cartoonishly large rollout (which I LOVED!), but I'm willing to wait out this era and see what happens. If nothing else it'll be an album I love. Uneventful releases (album cover reveal, single cover reveal, PI music video 2 weeks too late...) I'm hoping all of this is an illusion and we will get a plot twist like the one we'll be having on AHS Roanoke next episode..... Doing promo last time didn't help the album, so she's not doing promo this time, slay Gaga. another shot before we kiss the other side

jupita 15
she's lost her motivation for "want[ing] to be a star" (2011) and now surrounds herself with "a group of hippies" (2016).
Scar97 1,625
The OP isn't wrong. I will say I'm more excited for this music than I have ever been for a Gaga album (these snippets > Swinefest). It's just a shame that nobody knows an album is coming this week
FRANK1991 3,329
At least we still have the super bowl and James Corden oh why is this happening Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

Dorothy Gale 7,575
We're getting a few quality performances and a cohesive album in less than a week. I think Joanne promo will kick off after its released. They're aiming for longevity with Joanne and not frontloaded sales that drop off in the abyss.
