I actually get why some fans were mad

I have sort of been laying back watching everything unfold since the PI announcement up till now, and I have a few thoughts overall that I'm sick of repeating in every thread so I'll share them here and see what y'all have to say.

When I heard PI I was indifferent, it wasn't anything memorable but it was an alright song. From a charts POV it wasn't a comeback single, but I personally just wasn't interested in the sound. Some of you are getting upset that a lot of fans reacted negatively to, or just didn't like the song. Why?

I hope a lot of you remember that Gaga built her entire career not only on raw talent but iconic and creative visuals, and also dance/pop music. When you take away a portion of that formula (sound), and then also snatch away the visuals, you shouldn't really not expect a meltdown or a negative opinion. However, if you like the song and you are enjoying this era then that's wonderful too. To be positive, one thing I actually do like about this era is how everything is perfectly planned and consistent and on time. Everything is flowing perfectly.

At the end of the day some of you Little Dictators have got to stop telling people like me who don't really care for the song how to feel or what to say. It's an opinion.

I feel like fans should be used to Gaga's style constantly changing by now, that's pretty much been her brand since 2011.

I think most of us were just annoyed that these people kept flooding the site with their negative opinions and ruined the experience for those of us who enjoy the song, the sound, and the aesthetic of this era. 

No one is saying you HAVE to like it but this is a Gaga FAN site. We're supposed to be FANS. Sure, fans don't always like what an artist does, but constantly posting your dislike on a fan site seems counterproductive. If you don't enjoy it then move on and let other fans have a good experience. 

We have members here who swore they'd leave if they didn't like Gaga's direction yet they are still here spreading negativity. 

It just creates a cycle where the ones who enjoy it and the ones who don't fight in every single thread. 

As for Gaga's change of direction..... she's changed every single era. If by the 5th album you're just now realizing this then idk where you've been.

It's ok if you don't like the song and you feel the need to express it once or twice, but when you start posting negative stuff on every thread and keep complain again and again it's annoying because WE DON'T CARE. Let the ones who like it enjoy it and go and find something that makes you satisfied and happy instead of being here ruining the experience for others.

Shut the f*ck up and mind your business. You don't HAVE to agree with them. This thread is for discussing things, not sticking your opinion out and shoving it in people's faces who don't agree with you.

Ironically that is exactly what the Little Complainers were doing, telling Gaga what to do. 

An opinion are well thought out observation and not an emotional outburst with name calling here and there that people were doing here the past two weeks. 

They are not really care about the sounds change, that is just an excuse, in reality they are more concerned that they cannot brag Gaga is better than every other faves anymore cos the song might not be chart friendly and all that. It is more to their egotistical demands than anything. 

If y'all care about Gaga, you should be happy with her growth and things she wishes to do regardless you like it or not. 

Also, there are no need to keep that complains posted over and over when they knew there are one thread posted about it. It is all the same message with different words. People just grow tired with it. 

Image change are common in.music, an artist can't just keep doing the same thing over and over. What's the fun in that? And that is general, not just in pop.

At one point each of us will have to deal with that. I had it hard when Marilyn Manson decides to change things up with his 5th album Golden Age Of Grostesque, but in the end I learned to accept it and it isn't that bad. So, give it a chance rather that straight out rejecting it.

I think it only becomes annoying when people say they don't like Gaga anymore just because she isn't putting out another BR or JD. Some people are only here for the fame, success, and genre rather than Gaga and her artistic journey/growth. IMO.

i.e. Don't publicly express your opinion unless it strictly contributes to an echo chamber of positive feedback

Everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion and it's sad if you don't like the song, but it's ok.

The reason me and many others are annoyed by the negativity is that it has been so much, more than the positive stuff so you almost couldn't tell this was actually a fan site.

If you don't like the song, you can say so but it would be better to say it in an already existing discussing thread instead of making new threads which most of them have done.

I feel like this can easily be said against people who dislike the song too though.  There are members who dislike the song/era and they are actively trying to force their opinions upon others and constantly reiterating how much they dislike Gaga now.
