It really is too early to tell she's still gaining a lot of radio spins + the MV is coming 

I'd say her YouTube #s for the MV will be indicative of where she stands in the charts now and onwards since her streaming power has not been very strong even in 2013 

she would've been #2 if this was before streaming

It's hilarious. At that time the Hot 100 was based basically on sales and radio.

YouTube and streaming services (which most launched even after 2009) are now in the artist favor, even with that help she didn't outpeaked it. And no, you can't compare them.

Not when the whole Hot 100 is based on streaming which Gaga ruled when it wasn't that important and was a lot smaller than it's today.

A #15 debut isn't something to be happy about, not when It's Gaga, not when we are talking about a good song.

People lost interest on her, even her basic fans lost interest on her, it was her fault and I'm not saying this as a bad thing, I love 'PI' and I can't wait for Joanne but Gaga is not the power she once was and It's hard for that starus to comeback, ever.

I have the feeling that PI will enter to the top 10 next week after the release of the MV tomorrow, cauuse it will have 100M views  in the first 48h

For those who are dense, or happen to just have a messy brain this isn't a high debut because we are in the streaming age and gaga's sales were declining all week. We will see what happens in weeks to come, but debuts from before 2013 don't relate to anything going on right now.

 

Also, just because you don't like the news doesn't mean it isn't news. Deal with it.

But you can compare them. I just did. 

The point here isn't that PI is "OMG EXACTLY LIKE BR". 

The point is that even the GREATEST singles can have varied journeys on a chart. 

It's a way of telling those that still enjoy being a fan of an artist and a song that they don't have to let people tell them they're wrong for liking a song because of its sales position. Especially when the sales position of her biggest single followed an interesting trajectory during its debut month.
