eNICKma 240 Posted September 11, 2016 Share Posted September 11, 2016 My personal choice with Gaga vs Sia is hands down Gaga, but I AM obsessed with MANY of Sia's anthematic songs and some of her non-hits. I love any song that she really uses her powerhouse vocals in, such as pop hits Titanium and Chandelier. I also LOVE ALIVE! those lyrics from start to finish are words I feel I could've expressed myself (not to mention amazing vocals). And some non-hits I'm obsessed with as well off the top of my head are Fire Meet Gasoline and Broken Glass ( 2nd half of broken glass is the chorus repeated 3x w/ no bridge but builds more and more each time), they're amazing. Side note on Sia, she never wanted to be really famous or have notoriety the way she does now after she acquired it from her first major commercial hit Titanium. Titanium in my opinion is what officially made her a part of Pop Culture. She used to and even STILL hides from the public eye and I think she was always more happy writing songs for other artists then being in the top charts herself. Sia has been releasing albums and tracks and writing songs since the 90s. As for the Queen, she's my everything and I love EVERY SINGLE SONG and appreciate as well as relate to all of them equally. But MARRY THE NIGHT is my life's core anthem, I play it EVERYDAY in the shower to start my day on a good note. Also, the endless fashion styles, amazing choreography (I know nearly every dance, even non hit ones like Donatella and sheibe), lyrics, music videos, art, her devotion to her fans, and human rights activism makes her the best in my eyes over anyone. She really is the best person ever. i mentioned it before that as a forever monster from the very start, I've gained so much bravery and courage to live my most authentic, and through her words and way of life, I began to live and love my own. The Monster Life has been and always will be my official lifestyle. Finally, this incredible woman with one of the best voices EVER is getting recognition she deserves. Ever watch Six Feet Under? That show's finale brought her huge popularity with "Breathe Me". she makes fun of her pop music success btw. She loves her fans, but doesn't connect much with her newer pop tracks. She's so happy people like it and respond well to her and her enigmatic persona (she has or had severe Grave's disease--it disfigured her slightly (she's puffy) which is why she hides her face (plus so she can sing live comfortably). with all of this said, PI is superior to TG to me, but both are bops.
