I don't judge anyone, really, but I honestly can't see how someone could enjoy a song if right after it's out the first thing they do is checking her views, her chart positions etc. I find it a bit... Toxic and poisonous to the experience? But each to their own I guess!

I really am wondering why so many fans here are forgetting that? Did they join during the BTW era or something? Whenever Gaga makes a dramatic shift in her music, the public doesn't like it initially. Give it time to grow. 

As for the views, what did you expect for an audio video uploaded by an artist who hasn't been relatively active in the pop scene for 2-3 years now?

It's not safe to live in today's world, becoming overwhelmed of what people think. Just fully flow with it. It's what Gaga wanted to do, but never did until now. PI is a good song. Are we going to get upset that obsessive madonna fans and obsessive Gaga haters are going to do what they do best? or are we going to enjoy the good music?

Also, after a 3 year hiatus and the fact that shes not a new artist and shes full of labels like being a gay-only artist, these numbers and this reception is impressive.

If fans expect her to be crazy succesful like TFM and BTW, theyre deluded, its sad but its the truth and im sure Gaga knows it better than anyone
