I mean bad romance didn't reach number 1 either but it's legendary. Like I don't expect it to debut at #1 and stay there for 18 weeks, but why give up on the possibility of its success before it's even been released. It isn't even realism as much as it seems to be setting the bar low so that it can high jumped over or hit around where you set it, but honestly? It would just be better to make a thread with merits leaning towards GaGa's former work and her origin, and ultimately her force in the entertainment industry, rather than this is thing to soften the blow for the less mature fans. It is okay for a song to not go number 1, nothing hit that in ARTPOP and I set my bar very high for it, but I still loved that album and era though I felt it got a little lost in parts. This new album isn't going to be that, and none of her albums have really been much like the ones before or after, so just bask in the fact we getting new music and let yourself enjoy it. Don't worry about the GGD members, because reading through a few threads, you can see most fans or supposed fans have no clue what to think right now.
